It's a really good case but didn't get the full five because there is nothing from keeping the iPad from slipping upward

This case has worked out well, though lacking a little in quality of the front inside cover, it serves it's purpose rather well. The bottom access opening where you plug the charging/syncing cable into was cut off slightly to the right, a quick use of my exacto knife fixed that. The magnetic closure tab has held up to repeated openings/closings. Overall I would consider this cover again, for the money it was a good buy...

It has a rugged contruction feel to it, butvthe design needs improvement. The margins are too wide, often obsecuring the display. The edges are ruogh and dig into your hands like a dull knife if you hold it for more than a few mins. It lacks a secure way of propping up the device on a flat surface. I am now using it only to transpot my iPad, and even here you to make sure it does not slip out. I use one of those bands school kids use to hold their books together. In short it is far from perfect.

Fits the iPad perfect. I would recommend this except it smells. Like really smells bad. Think wet dog. When the iPad heats up from 5 or 10 minutes of use its very noticeable.

It needs a stand. It would be really cheap to add a kickstand for setting up the ipad either vertically or horizontally. You can kinda do it in landscape view by propping it up like a flip book, but it's not very stable. Other than that, though, pretty good.
