It only comes with ONE page of instructions and it only deals with the assembly of the spring slide and the grip arms. Also, it is very easy to get the screws that are used to attached the arms mixed with the ones used in attaching the tray to the rest of the mount, because there is only a 5mm difference in length between them.
This mount should really be called a multi-purpose electronics mount because it ships with 16 grip arms divided in to four variations: long flat arms, short flat arms, long flex arms, and short flex arms. The arms can be adjusted in height or moved to different slots on the tray.
To customize it to an Ipad configuration, use the the short flex arms and attach each of them to the second-to-the-last slots on the groved ends of the tray. Also when setting the spring into the slide, use a flat head instead of the phillips head that the instructions suggest; the spring tends to coil around the phillips head and you end up pulling the spring out.
If you are going to get this mount, make sure that you are technically savvy to put it together or hire someone who is to do it for you. the mount is quite solid and sturdy when assembled. It would have been a five star if it came with detailed assembly instructions.
